MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT AND FINAL CALL FOR PAPERS
DATES: 13-15 October 2006 Printable meeting program/schedule (PDF) Final Call for Papers: This is the final call for oral and poster presentations. All authors must submit abstracts by 22 September 2006. All authors must use the abstract submission form and submit abstracts for presentation electronically as an attachment (file formats required, in order of preference, are PDF [.pdf], or Word2000 [.doc], or rich-text file [.rtf] to Victoria Jackson. All authors must preregister and pay fee for the meeting. The registration form is available here. Submit no m ore than one first authored paper. About 18 oral presentations can be accommodated and will be accepted in the order received. However, students will have a higher priority than faculty, if numbers of presentations submitted exceed the schedule limitations. Oral presentations will be allotted 12 minutes for the talk, 2 minutes for questions, and 1 minute to move between speakers. Only PowerPoint® slide presentations will be accepted. Each PowerPoint® presentation file must adhere to the following restrictions:
PowerPoint presentations will be downloaded onto a central computer and placed in order of presentation. All PowerPoint presentations will be given from a single computer. Backups should be on Zip disks (100 MB) or on CD. Authors will receive an electronic confirmation of receipt of their abstract and their PowerPoint presentation. Additionally, a message from the CPSM list serve will announce when the finalized program has been posted to the web site. Registration (on or before 22 September--$15.00 for students, $20.00 for non-students; after 22 September--$20.00 for students, $25.00 for non-student); registration is FREE if you are a student and presenting a paper or poster.
